On April 16, 2026, the 6th/7th Grade Biomedical Science course at P.K. Yonge hosted the UF Institute on Aging. Students were given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities related to research on aging.

North Central Florida Health Festival
On March 7, 2026, the IOA hosted a booth at the NCFHF to share about the Institute’s mission to further the field of aging research. Individuals participated in grip strength tests and joined the Pepper Registry to be connected with future UF aging research opportunities.
