Objectives:

At the conclusion of my talk, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify environmental cues that modulate aging in Drosophila.
  2. Describe the evolutionarily conserved signaling pathway that modulates aging and health-outcomes in Drosophila in response to environmental cues.
  3. Describe the newly discovered complex perceptive ability in Drosophila that reveals deeply conserved mechanistic links between psychological state and aging.
