Opportunities To Enroll in Research

UF Institute on Aging faculty members have a number of current and upcoming aging studies available for volunteers.

Gift card compensation is provided for some of the studies, and gas card reimbursement or van transportation for distance travel may be available.

We are currently enrolling participants in the following studies:

If you are 60 or older and experiencing mild to moderate physical challenges, you may be eligible to participate in the Aged Garlic Extract (AGE) study.

Pepper Registry

The purpose of this research study is to create a registry of volunteers who are interested in taking part in aging-related research. By signing up you may receive newsletters, postcards and other mail informing you of aging-related research at the University of Florida.

A multi-center study for adults 75 years or older to learn if taking a statin could help older adults live well for longer by preventing dementia, disability, or heart disease. A statin is a commonly used drug to lower cholesterol.

This study aims to create and test smart watches for tracking important health events, including falls and hospitalizations.
