The IOA hosted its first Aging Aims Studio of 2026 today, August 13. The session was fully attended, which additional participants joining on Zoom.

Twice a month, investigators at any career stage may volunteer to present a one-page Specific Aims document. Prior to the session, presenters submit their aims page to the organizer. During the meeting, participants spend the first 15 minutes silently reading the Specific Aims page, followed by a structured discussion that provides constructive feedback on the significance, innovation, clarity, feasibility, and overall impact of the proposal.

The Aging Aims Studio is open to investigators and trainees preparing aging-related grant applications. Whether you are developing your first career development award or a large multi-site proposal, the collaborative provides an opportunity to strengthen your proposal through early-stage feedback. All aging researchers are welcome.
