JAX-ASCENT, a new research facility focusing on aging studies opened its doors on the campus of UF Health Jacksonville, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place on May 11, 2018.
The Center aims to register every year 1,000 adults, 60 and older, to encompass minorities and other underrepresented categories in the clinical research field. Qualified registrants will have the option to participate, free of charge, in studies focusing on aging and independence of older adults.
Compensation and transportation to and from the Center may be provided to qualified participants.
