Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
- Identify potential patient-related and system-wide barriers to the promotion of hospital mobility.
- Summarize the available evidence of the known benefits and harms of promoting hospital mobility in older adults.
- Determine the necessary components for culture change within a hospital/ health system as it relates to patient mobility.
