Spotlight on Aging abstracts for 2017. Open to all colleges at UF and the VA

This call is targeted to researchers across all colleges at UF and the VA in order to bring together the aging research community to share current findings and foster collaboration. This year the focus of the event is “Data Sciences”. A $250 prize will be awarded to the best clinical and preclinical student research poster. Undergraduate, graduate, medical and postdoctoral students are eligible for the awards. Abstract submissions are accepted through our online submission process at our website through August 1, 2017. The abstract text should not exceed 350 words. Do not include figures, tables or mathematical equations in the abstract. Avoid acronyms. Spell out abbreviations the first time you use them. If you use references, provide the journal, volume, year, and page numbers; however, references count as words toward your abstract, and are not required. Presentation of specific data and methodological details, clarity and brevity of writing and a clear statement regarding conclusions will assist in judging the quality of the research.
